Sometime between 8 and 10 this morning, our first butterfly came out of it's chrysalis! The children were so excited and kept checking on the butterfly throughout the day. Some of us even got to see it flapping it's wings as the wings were drying. I'm anticipating the next butterfly to hatch sometime this weekend or early next week. Such exciting science happening in our classroom!
