Yesterday, we had our 3rd butterfly hatch. This morning, we sadly let it go, which it was ready to fly to warmer temperatures. The moment I took my hand, which the butterfly was on, out of the tank, the butterfly took off immediately and flew to the tree. This picture above shows the children looking up the tree for the butterfly.
We also had another butterfly hatch this morning and Mrs. Boutin brought us 2 more monarch caterpillars for our classroom. We are all very excited to see more beautiful butterflies hatch!
