We began our Life Cycles unit today. We will particularly be looking at the life cycle of a Monarch Butterfly. We actually have 4 monarch caterpillars in our classroom! Two of them have already formed into their chrysalis. We are very excited to watch them transform into butterflies! We also acted out the life cycle with our bodies, which the children really enjoyed transforming into a beautiful butterfly.
