Mrs. Tatlock also read a book titled Hands, Hands, Hands and showed the children the sign for sharing. She concluded her lesson by having the children partner up with each other and do an activity using their hands in a safe way (waving hello, yelling, blowing a kiss, giving a high five, throwing a ball, playing the drums, etc.)

Using Our Words
On Friday, Mrs. Tatlock came in for another guidance lesson, which focused on using our words when we have a problem to solve. She started the lesson with
two puppets (Pumpsey and Kelso) that had a problem they needed to solve!
Kelso wanted a pen that Pumpsey had, and he got mad and pushed her. Mrs. Tatlock talked about how to solve problems with our words, and then brainstormed with the children different things Kelso could have done instead.
