Partner Reading, Frankenstein, 10 Frames, and New Letters

Today during Reader's workshop we worked on setting up norms for partner reading.  We built this anchor chart to help us remember what partner reading looks like.  We will continue adding to this chart throughout the week.

In writer's workshop, we began dabbling into the idea of labeling our drawings.  Today, we learned how to write the word me and how to use it in our own writing.  Look at all the writers who tried out using the word me in their writing!

These are the letters that we are focusing on this week.  Below is one of the many ways we are learning the letters pf the alphabet.  This activity was part of our morning message sign in.

Yesterday we had fun making Frankenstein.

In math, we've been working with 10 Frames. We have been having fun building what we see on the 10 frame using cubes and on our fingers.

Here are some pictures from the last two days.
