Staying Safe and Reading Buddies

Today, Ms. S came in to teach us about the Never, Never Rules and Ways to Stay Safe.  The children learned about the first 4 rules and participated in some role playing practicing the rules.  Next week, they will learn about the other 4 rules.

 We also began reading buddies with Ms. Crowley's first and second graders.  Each child was paired up with a reading buddy and their buddy read to them.  Some children even felt comfortable and confident to read to their buddy!  We will continue to meet with our buddies weekly until the end of the school year.
