Throughout the last couple of weeks the children have been caught being respectful, being a kind friend, being safe, being a good writer, being a good reader, and being a good listener. As I "catch" the children throughout the day, they receive a piece of paper stating what they were being caught for. This is a great way to reinforce positive behavior in and out of the classroom. When your child brings one of these paper's home, ask him/her how they earned it.
