When we came back from the February break, we discussed what the phrase "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb" meant. Next, we looked at some weather pictures and decided if it was lion or lamb weather. Then, the children chose a lamb or lion pattern and used watercolors to color their animal. After, they responded to the following prompt: I like March because...., Their writing was placed next to their lambs and lions on the wall in the classroom, which are so adorable! Ask your child why they like March.

In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb
