In Guidance, the children have been learning about the Never-Never Rules, which are:
- Never ride on wheels without wearing a helmet
- Never cross the street without checking all ways for traffic
- Never play with fire
- Never touch a dog without asking the adult you are with
- Never use a sharp tool without an older person's help
- Never ride in a car without wearing a seatbelt
- Never go in the water without an adult watching
- Never touch a gun
The children have been acting out different scenarios using the Never-Never Rules along with creating posters for the rules. More information about the Never-Never Rules will be sent home in your child's Friday folder this week.
This week in guidance, the children completed an activity where they were learning about seeing other perspectives. The children created sunglasses and drew a place that makes them feel happy. The children "tried" on each other's glasses to what their peers were seeing.
Video and pictures from these classes.
