Today we held our first Forest Thursday, which was a great success! The children participated in 2 stations. The first station was finding nature items to create the first letter of their name. The second station had them creating tree masks out of clay. They also had time for free play in our forest area. Toward the end of the afternoon, we found our sit spots in our meeting area where we sat quietly, observing nature and thinking about what we were thankful during our forest time today. We enjoyed snack and a read aloud this afternoon followed by our Gratitude Circle.
