Kindergarten Engineers

Over the past few weeks we have be taking on the roles of engineers during our literacy stations. Once a week a small engineering team meets to working on creating a plan to solve a problem or answer a question they have. 

Each group is working on something different, but all following the same steps of asking the question, researching, designing and then testing. All of this amazing work is being written down in their engineering books that follows the story of "Rosie Revere, Engineer". 

This is an ongoing project that will end with four different tools that will help someone, our class or the world!

Ask your child what their engineering team is building or see if you can find some materials at home they might want to use for their models.
