We read the book
Creepy Carrots, which is about a character, named Jasper, who keeps eating carrots from a carrot patch. The carrots have had enough and decide to come up with a plan to scare Jasper so that he stops picking them from the patch.
After reading the book, the children completed an extension activity to accompany the book. The children had to respond to the question: "What would you do to stop the creepy carrots?". They wrote and drew a picture about what they would do with the creepy carrots. Then, they created their own creepy carrot.
The children loved this book and really enjoyed the extension activities! Ask your child what they would have done to stop the creepy carrots.

| I would put them in a house with lions around it. |
 |
| I would put them in my basement with a police. |
 |
| I would squish them with a car. |
