A little over a week ago, we began focusing on being kind in our classroom. We shared ways we could be kind to our friends both in the classroom and in our school. We've been reading friendship books and have been discussing how the characters have been kind in the story. Also, each time a friend in the class has been kind to another friend, I've been writing it on a heart. The hearts are placed in our Kindness Basket , which will then be read on Fridays during our closing circle. After, the hearts will be placed on Our Kindness Tree for all to see.
