Four Winds and Arbor Day

This morning we had our last Four Winds workshop, which focused on navigation and how animals use the sun and their surroundings to find their way around.  The children participated in a mapping activity and they explored compasses outside.  Click here for a few pictures and videos.

This afternoon, we celebrated Arbor Day as a school.  We gathered around our newly planted tree (a type of maple) and celebrated trees through songs.  We also said goodbye to our gardener, Mr. Andrew.
