Celebrating the Earth!

Before the vacation, we read the book Michael Recycle Meets Litterbug Doug, which was a fictional story about Litterbug Doug not being kind to the Earth and Michael Recycle teaching him the importance of taking care of the planet they live on. This is a great book that sends vital information about recycling and enviornmental awareness. We also discussed ways we could help save the Earth, which the children then wrote about what they could do to help save the Earth. In addition we talked about what Earth Day was and the importance of celebrating it.
