On Wednesday we celebrated the 100th day of school with some fun activities. We took a museum tour of the 100th day projects that were brought in from home. The projects were amazing and I love how they all were different!
We counted to 100 by 10's and 1's. We also did a writing piece about the topic of having $100 and what we would do with it (see the voicethread below to see how the children responded). The children also created a picture centered around the number 100 and they created something using 100 objects in small groups. On Thursday, they played Race to 100 during Math Work Places. One of my favorite activities that was completed by the children was having them make a portrait of themselves when they are 100 years old! It took a lot of convincing that they would have gray hair at 100! Though some children didn't buy it.
Enjoy the pictures!
