Wilderness Wednesdays

The weather doesn't seem to want to cooperate with us on our Wilderness Wednesdays!  Despite the dam, drizzly weather, the children enjoyed being outside all day.  They had fun exploring the water, finding slugs, making a princess castle, using a branch for a see-saw, climbing trees, and playing tag.

In the afternoon, some children had the opportunity to explore the Allen Brook, while the other group of children did some painting with apples and a fun game that worked on some social skills.  Next week, these groups will flip flop and do the opposite activity.  We also picked out sit spots, a place where we care reflect about our day.

Pictures and Videos from today's outdoor learning adventure.
