Today, Changing Perspectives was at our school to promote awareness and empathy to others with disabilities. The children participated in 4 stations: Learning about Autism, What is Empathy?, Understanding BIG feelings, and Fine Motor Challenges.

Here are some discussion questions to ask your child:
- What is empathy? Can you give me an example?
- What is a disability?
- Show me how you would feel if you were in the red zone.
- Tell me about the fine motor station. Did you find it challenging or easy to button up the shirt?
- What sounds did you like? What sounds were harder to listen to?
