Forest Mondays

We've been enjoying the outside during our Forest Mondays, despite the rainy, cold weather we've been having.  Last week the children had fun explore the muddy waters running the in field.  Some of them even got brave and jumped in the puddle, which ended up becoming larger each time someone jumped in it!  This week, the children planted seeds, which we are growing in the classroom, and picked Dandelions.

Here are a few questions you could ask your child:

• What seed did you choose to plant (zinnia, cucumber, or green bean)?
• What does your seed need in order to grow?
• What changes are you noticing now that it's spring? 
• Tell me about an activity you do during Forest Mondays.
