Leah Eaters

Last week, we had our first Four Winds workshop put on by some of our parent volunteers. This year's over arching goal for the Four Winds program is ecosystems. Our focus for this workshop was on leaf eaters. The children brainstormed different creatures that may eat leaves.  They also learned how these leaf eaters eat their leaves (tunneling, scalloping the edges, rolling the leaf into a tube).

For activities, the children matched various leaves to the type of leaf eater and then searched outside for evidence of leaf eaters.  Lastly, we had a discussion about food chains.
