Thought I would add a few scenes from the classroom this week to show the kids during Ease-in time and Reader's Workshop time. While although very different activities, they both remain a favorite of the students. During Reader's Workshop they must sustain Independent reading, with their reading bins, for about 15 minutes. I am finding that the students at this time of the school year are really enjoying the art of reading, telling stories and just looking at books of all genres.
I have been in and out of the room this week helping out at Kindergarten Screening. Yes, its that time of the year again when we have a quick look at the preschoolers from all over Williston. I am sure you remember when you brought your child in for screening, full of anticipation, excitement and wonder.
