Happy Thanksgiving

Before we left for the Thanksgiving break, the children created a turkey and wrote, and drew a picture of what they were thankful for.  Take a listen to the video below to see what your child is thankful for.

We also read the book Turkey Trouble, which is about a turkey that doesn't want to be eaten on Thanksgiving.  So, he decides that he is going to disguise himself as other animals and people, such as a sheep or a pizza delivery man, to hide from the farmer.

After reading this book, the children drew their own turkey and came up with a way to disguise him or her.  Take a look below at what the children came up with.
