Our First Class Celebration

Since school began, the children have been working hard to earn warm buzzies (pom-poms).  To earn a warm buzzy (either as a class or individually) the children have to be caught being safe, kind or responsible.  When they are caught following the school rules, they are given a warm buzzy, which is then placed in our class beehive (small honey jar). 

On Monday the children filled the buzzy jar, which meant it was time for a celebration!  On Tuesday, we took a vote to see what everyone wanted to do for our celebration.  The majority of the class decided they wanted to use the IPADS.  So on Wednesday, that is exactly what happened.  They had about 20 minutes of exploring the different apps and the camera, which was the highlight of the celebration.

Once we filled our jar, we dumped our warm buzzies into the big school beehive.  Once this beehive is filled, we will have a school-wide celebration.  So stay tune as it is nearly filled!
