We had a wonderful first day of kindergarten. It was so nice to have more time with the children. We had a very busy day learning all about the bathrooms, cafeteria, playground, how to line up, how to walk in the hall, what our bodies look like and sound like during read alouds, quiet time and morning meetings. The children did an amazing job listening to all the instructions!
We were able to get some play time, both inside and outside. We also read the book Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready for Kindergarten. We had a nice discussion about what we did to get ready for kindergarten. After, the children drew what they did. They will be sharing their drawings with you on their SeeSaw account (some already did today and the rest will tomorrow).
