Sugaring at the Audubon

On Friday, we traveled to the Audubon to learn more about maple sugaring. Despite the rain, we made it through our trip and got to taste the different grades of syrup, one of our favorite parts of the trip. The children also tasted sap, helped drill a hole in a maple tree for a spout, visited the Sugarhouse and learned about the evaporator, and learned some facts about maple trees.
